Welcome to Zeturi. This guide will help you get started with managing your collective scheme, whether you're creating a new group or joining an existing one.

Scheme Types

Zeturi supports four types of collective schemes:

• Stokvels – Traditional savings groups with rotation or proportional payouts
• Burial Societies – Groups that provide funeral cover for members and dependants
• Investment Clubs – Pooled investment groups with unit-based ownership
• Property Syndicates – Groups that co-own property and share rental income

Member Roles

• Admin – Full control over scheme settings, members, and finances
• Treasurer – Can record transactions and manage finances
• Member – Can view their own balance and scheme activity

Member ID Format

Every member gets a unique ID in the format SCHEME_CODE-NNN (e.g., ZET123456-007). The scheme code is auto-generated by the system when you create your scheme. Use this ID as your payment reference when making contributions so the system can automatically allocate your funds.

Common First Steps

1. Complete Your Profile
   Add your phone number and enable two-factor authentication for security.
2. Set Up Notifications
   Choose how you want to be notified about contributions, distributions, and scheme updates.
3. Link Your Bank Account
   Add your bank details so you can receive distributions when it's your turn.
4. Make Your First Contribution
   Use your Member ID as the payment reference and watch it appear in your balance.
